What is the unit circle?
In this post, we understand the unit circle definition of sin(\theta), cos(\theta) , and tan(\theta) and periodicity using degrees, as a part of the Prelim Maths Advanced course under the topic Trigonometric Functions and sub-part Radians. The unit circle is a circle with radius of one and is used to explain many trigonometric ratios in clearer detail.
How is trigonometry used in the unit circle?
The following two videos run over the introduction of the unit circle, and how trigonometry is used directly to measure values for sine, cosine and tangent.
