Describing the Behaviour of a Function

How do I describe the behaviour of a function?

In this post, we will be describing the behaviour of a function and its tangent at a point, using the language of “increasing, decreasing, constant, stationary, increasing at an increasing rate”, as a part of the Prelim Maths Advanced course under the topic Calculus and sub-part Difference Quotients.

The following video helps you understand how to describe the behaviour of a function using visual examples which enable you to easily grasp this concept.

This video covers similar topics like the one above, however, it goes over more examples of increasing and decreasing functions.
