How do I solve problems involving simulations or trials of experiments?
In this post, we will be solving problems involving simulations or trials of experiments in a variety of contexts, as a part of the Prelim Maths Advanced course under the topic Statistical Analysis and sub-part Probability and Venn diagrams. We identify factors that could complicate the simulation of real-world events and use relative frequencies obtained from data as point estimates of probabilities.
The following video covers an example that requires you to use simulations to determine probability.
This video provides an example of experimental versus theoretical probability as simulations.
