Position, Velocity and Acceleration Using Derivatives

How do I determine velocity from a point in time, and acceleration given its velocity at a point in time?

In this post, we determine the velocity of a particle given its displacement from a point as a function of time, and also determine the acceleration of a particle given its velocity at a point as a function of time. This is part of the Prelim Maths Advanced course under the topic Calculus and sub-part Calculating with Derivatives, specifically focusing on position, velocity and acceleration using derivatives.

This video covers how to use derivatives when questions involving position, velocity, and acceleration.
