How do I describe the behaviour of a function?

In this post, we will be describing the behaviour of a function and its tangent at a point, using the language of “increasing, decreasing, constant, stationary, increasing at an increasing rate”, as a part of the Prelim Maths Advanced course under the topic Calculus and sub-part Difference Quotients.
