If you are having trouble finding these little diamonds on the web, here is a definitive list of government endorsed, Australian teacher federation approved, and most importantly free, practice tests and past papers for NAPLAN Years 3, 5, 7, and 9.

These tests are organized below by NAPLAN year level, so you won’t have to sort through multiple, irrelevant tests from other years.

The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority is one many people overlook when searching for free tests. Unlike ACARA or NAP, these are shorter practice exam sets. These little tests are perfect for drills and training for exam formats.

For those who are not aware, Excel do in fact provide free downloadable example tests on their website. If you and your child wish to continue with more of their tests however, you will need to either buy them outright or purchase a subscription.

Smeebu

This site is similar to QCAA, however all tests are online. This means your child will need to be familiar with a computer keyboard to fill out the answers. There is both an old and new version of the website provided for parents and children.
