What makes Rachit a Trailblazer?

Rachit is a driven and compassionate individual who has made significant contributions to community service and social impact. Through his role as chairman of the Community Services Committee (CSC) at Sydney Boys High School, Rachit has successfully raised over $50,000 for various charitable causes. His dedication and leadership skills allowed him to organise and oversee numerous events, engaging student volunteers and fostering connections with different communities in need of support.

As the community service and wellbeing prefect, Rachit continues to drive positive change in his school. He initiated the Wellbeing Crew club, aimed at improving student well-being by creating a supportive environment and encouraging students to reach out for help. Additionally, as a student ambassador for the Push-Up Challenge, he raises awareness about mental health and promotes the importance of physical exercise in maintaining well-being.

Rachit’s commitment to making a lasting impact extends beyond his school. He founded Help Elevate Youth (HEY), a not-for-profit organisation that provides support and care packages to homeless and disadvantaged youth. Rachit’s initiative has gained recognition, and HEY has received interest from volunteers across New South Wales and even internationally. His vision is to transform HEY into a global organisation that provides equal opportunities and support to disadvantaged communities.

Rachit’s dedication to social impact and change is not limited to community service. He is also actively involved in various co-curricular activities that promote equality, environmental awareness, and public speaking. Through his involvement in the Equality Committee, PAWS Committee, and the school’s debating and public speaking teams, he has honed his skills as a leader and advocate for important causes.

With a passion for medicine, Rachit aspires to help others and serve the community through a career in healthcare. He understands the importance of building connections with patients while maintaining professionalism and is motivated by the social aspect of medicine. Although he hasn’t had extensive work experience in the medical field, his involvement in aged care facilities demonstrates his dedication to providing physical and emotional assistance to those in need.

In addition to his remarkable achievements, Rachit’s ability to network and learn from others with similar interests has made him a pragmatic individual. He seeks guidance from experienced individuals, expands his connections with organisations, and continuously develops his skills as a freelance graphic designer.

Rachit’s outstanding leadership, dedication to community service, and pursuit of social impact make him a true Trailblazer. His ability to rally students, raise funds, and initiate impactful initiatives showcases his visionary mindset and passion for making a difference. Rachit’s commitment to helping others, both within his school and through his own organisation, exemplifies his compassion and drive to create a better world. With his determination, leadership skills, and passion for medicine, Rachit is undoubtedly deserving of his place among our Top 50 Trailblazers!
