  • Participated in the CQU School Business Challenge, represented the district for athletics, and played for the winning team of the A-grade ladies soccer.

What makes Kasey a Trailblazer?

Kasey is an exceptional individual who has consistently demonstrated outstanding achievements and a drive for success. Throughout her academic journey, Kasey has consistently received high distinction awards for her exceptional performance, showcasing her dedication to excellence.

Recognised for her talents and commitment to her chosen career path, Kasey was nominated by her workplace for the prestigious Queensland Training Awards. This acknowledgment highlights her exceptional skills and the value she brings to the organisations she works with.

Kasey has also dedicated significant time to gaining practical experience in her field of interest. She completed approximately 14 days of work experience with a barrister, where she actively participated in client meetings, took detailed notes, and provided assistance whenever possible. Additionally, Kasey spent three days working at a local dental practice, where she gained valuable insights into dental assisting, equipment sterilisation, and the creation of dental prosthetics.

Despite facing various challenges, Kasey has demonstrated resilience and perseverance. Being the eldest of five children and dealing with family struggles during her Year 12 studies, she has managed to balance a full plate of responsibilities. From maintaining a rigorous academic workload to engaging in extracurricular activities, external studies, and part-time work, Kasey’s ability to juggle multiple commitments showcases her determination and strong work ethic.

Kasey envisions herself pursuing a career in either business/law or the health field. Her diverse experiences and work exposure have ignited her passion for both paths. Whether it be working with people in a legal context or providing support and care within the health industry, Kasey’s unwavering desire to help others remains at the core of her aspirations.

Beyond her academic and career pursuits, Kasey actively engages in her school community. She has played a pivotal role in organising school socials and other events throughout the year, showcasing her leadership and organisational skills. Moreover, Kasey has represented her school in the CQU School Business Challenge, demonstrated her athletic prowess by representing the district in athletics, and contributed to the success of the A-grade ladies soccer team.

Kasey’s impressive accomplishments, work ethic, and commitment to personal growth make her a true Trailblazer. Her consistent academic excellence, valuable work experience, and active involvement in various extracurricular activities demonstrate her dedication to pursuing her passions and making a positive impact.
