Vectors and Quadrilaterals is a part of the VCE Specialist Maths topic Vectors and subtopic Vector Proofs. In this post, we look how vectors can be used to prove situations involving quadrilaterals. Some of these include:
- proving sides of the quadrilateral are equal
- showing that the magnitude of vectors are equal on a quadrilateral with equal sides
- showing the vectors are parallel on parallel sides
