Solving Linear Inequalities is a part of the VCE Further Maths topic Graphs and Relations. Inequalities can be solved by adding, subtracting, dividing or multiplying both sides of the equation until the variable is left on its own on one side. An important note is that:
- If you multiply or divide by a negative number, you must switch the greater/less than sign.
