Projectile Motion is a part of the VCE Specialist Maths topic Vectors and subtopic Calculus and Motion with Vectors. This post looks at the motion of an object as forces act on it through the air. Projectile motion is considered in two parts:
- The horizontal component, which is constant
- The vertical component, the acceleration at the rate of gravity
