Natural and Artificial Immunity

Natural and Artificial Immunity is a part of the VCE Biology area of study ‘How do Cells Communicate?’. It is a part of the subtopic ‘Immunity’. Acquiring natural immunity is done by becoming infected by a specific pathogen. Artificial immunity is gained through small exposures to a pathogen. By injecting antibodies for a specific pathogen, vaccines help you to gain artificial immunity.
