Human Fossil Classification Scheme is a part of the VCE Biology area of study ‘How are Species Related?’ and subtopic ‘Human Change Over Time’. The human fossil record is often open to interpretations when new evidence surfaces. This is significant to the concept of whether neanderthalenis interbred, and also the placement of the Denisovans into the Homo evolutionary tree.
