Endonucleases, Ligases and Polymerase Enzymes

Endonucleases, Ligases and Polymerase Enzymes is a part of the VCE Biology area of study ‘How Do Humans Impact on Biological Processes?’. It is a part of the subtopic ‘DNA Manipulation’. Endonucleases can recognise DNA sequences and cleave fragments from the sequences. Ligases are enzymes that catalyse the joining of large molecules. Polymerase enzymes synthesise long chains of nucleic acids.
