VCE Together Year 12 Composite Solids

Back to other subjects

Composite Solids

Composite Solids is a part of the VCE Further Maths topic Geometry and Measurement. The surface area of a composite solid is calculated the same way as right prisms and pyramids. The volume of the composite volume also follows similar methods to pyramids and prisms. It is important to separate composite solids into familiar 2D and 3D shapes to easily calculate the volume or surface areas.
