Circle Mensuration is a part of the VCE Further Maths topic Geometry and Measurement, and subtopic Spherical Geometry. This post looks at the arc length of a circle, arc length of a sector and areas of sectors.
- Arc length is the distance between two points on a section of a curve.
- Sectors are made by the arc of a circle, and two radii of the circle. This can be compared to a slide of pizza or pie.
