Redox Reaction Equations

How Can We Write out Redox Reactions?

This post will go through redox reaction equations for QCE Chemistry.

3.2.1 – Redox Reactions

  • Understand that the ability of an atom to gain or lose electrons can be
predicted from the atom’s position in the periodic table, and explained with
reference to valence electrons, consideration of energy and the overall
    stability of the atom
  • Identify the species oxidised and reduced, and the oxidising agent and
    reducing agent, in redox reactions
  • Mandatory practical: Perform single displacement reactions in
    aqueous solutions.

Oxidation-Reduction Reactions and Equations

This video will go through oxidation-reduction reactions.
