Large Population Approximation

This is part of the QCE Specialist Maths course, specifically large population approximation.  In this post, we will explore how to simulate repeated random sampling from a variety of distributions and a range of sample sizes to illustrate the approximate standard normality for large samples ( ≥ 30).

For larger populations, we use a slightly different approximation for a proportion. Let’s learn more about this approximation below.
