What are float times and how do we calculate them?
Float time is the amount of time a task can be delayed without it causing a delay to other tasks in the project. We calculate this by finding the latest start time and subtracting the earliest start time. The result of this provides us with the amount of time a task can ‘float’ before it starts to impact the project time. The following video explains total float time and how to calculate it in QCE General Maths.
