Bernoulli Trials and the Number of Successes

In this post, we understand the concepts of Bernoulli trials and the concept of a binomial random variable as the number of ‘successes’ in $n$ independent Bernoulli trials with the same probability of success $p$ in each trial. This syllabus dot point is a part of the QCE Maths Methods course under the topic Discrete Random Variables 2 and sub-part Binomial Distributions, specifically focusing on Bernoulli Trials and the number of successes.
