Workshop Teacher

Miranda is a Senior Coach at AOS who is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and English at the University of Sydney. She is an English expert and her University education, as well as years of teaching experience, make her the perfect teacher for this workshop! Miranda has also trained with theatre professionals from NIDA and has previously received a musical theatre scholarship from John Bell (founder of Bell Shakespeare).

Workshop Teacher

Brooklyn is our Head of English at Art of Smart Education, and has a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) (Honours) from Sydney University. She has extensive English teaching experience, supporting over 100+ students through the HSC via both classes and 1 on 1 support. She is the co-host of the online TV Show, The HSC English Literature Program which features in-depth analysis on HSC English Prescribed Texts, and is a new HSC English Syllabus Expert.

Terry is a graduate of James Ruse Agricultural High School where he scored an ATAR of 96.80, placing him in the top 3.2% of NSW and has taught at Normanhurst Boys, Hornsby Girls, North Sydney Boys, and Pymble Ladies College. Terry leads our 2U and 3U Maths classes at our Hornsby campus.

Adrian is a qualified high school teacher, who has a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Chemistry at the University of Sydney. Adrian was awarded the University Medal in both Physics and Chemistry at Sydney University, for coming 1st in the university. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Education at the University of Queensland where he was awarded the Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence. Adrian is Head of Sciences at Art of Smart, and is very passionate about teaching and would like to see all students reach their full potential. Ken has a PhD with a focus on Biology as well as a Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Technology Sydney. Ken has over 5 years of teaching experience supporting students from small classes through to workshops of over 150 students! With the new HSC Science syllabi bringing in concepts from a University level, Ken brings his extensive post-graduate knowledge into the HSC course to help students excel!


Prelim Drama – How to Nail Your Year 12

In this workshop we’re going to help you master your skills in selecting and performing a monologue for Drama in the HSC to kickstart your journey into Year 12.

In this 3 hour workshop during the school holidays we’re going to help you:

  • Choose your monologue and work to your strengths
  • Learn how to properly direct a monologue
  • Sustain and develop a role/character arc
  • Develop your monologue structure and dramatic coherence

Ryan is our resident HSC Economics new syllabus expert! He is currently studying a Bachelor of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Economics. Overall, Ryan has two years of experience teaching HSC Economics and has taught both Economics and Business Studies classes at the Art of Smart campus, supporting over 50+ students to navigate the challenges of HSC!
