Volume of Pyramids and Cones

How do you find the volume of pyramids and cones?

A pyramid fits exactly inside a prism, three times over to be exact. Therefore to work out the volume of a pyramid, all you need to do is find the area of the cross-section, multiply by the length and divide by 3. A cone works the exact same. This post will help you with the volume of pyramids and cones in Prelim Standard Math.
