Scale Drawings

What is a Scale Drawing?

Scale Drawings are a drawing that represents an actual object. As we know, we can’t draw a map of Australia onto an A4 piece of paper with the real measurements, however, we can draw a scale. The scale takes the form of “drawing length: actual length”. If for every cm you draw, the real measurement is 10m, you would represent this as “1cm:10m”. The following videos explain what scale drawings are in more detail, and how to solve examples in HSC Standard Math.
