Reproductive Technologies

Current reproductive technologies include artificial insemination, artificial pollination are used to induce genetic change. Artificial insemination is where semen from the selected male is inserted into the female’s reproductive tract to produce offsprings with favourable characteristics. Artificial pollination is where pollen from desirable plants is dusted over fertile stigmas to breed new varieties of plants.
