What is the relationship between the change in temperature of an object and its specific heat capacity?

In this post, we analyse the relationship between the change in temperature of an object and its specific heat capacity through the equation Q = mc \Delta t , as a part of the Prelim Physics course under the module Waves and Thermodynamics and sub-part Thermodynamics. The specific heat energy is the amount of heat per unit mass required to raise the temperature by one degree Celsius.
