Pigeonhole Principle

The pigeonhole principle states that if more than n pigeons are placed into n pigeonholes, at least 1 pigeonhole will contain more than one pigeon. This is part of the Prelim Maths Extension 1 Syllabus from the topic Combinatorics: Working with Combinatorics. In this post, we will explore the Permutations and combinations pigeonhole principle.

In these videos, we will learn to solve simple problems and prove results using the pigeonhole principle.
