Nuclear Fusion Energy

This section is part of the HSC Physic syllabus Module 8: From the universe to the atom, Properties of the Nucleus.

In this post, we will account for the release of energy in the process of nuclear fusion.

We know from Einstein’s energy-mass relationship that energy is proportional to mass. So by finding the difference in mass/energy, we can find the energy release from radioactive decay.
