Law of Conservation of Energy to the Heating Effects of Electric Currents

How does the heating effect of electrical currents relate to the law of conservation of energy

In this post, we investigate quantitatively the application of the law of conservation of energy to the heating effects of electric currents, including the application of P=VI and variations of this involving Ohm’s Law, as a part of the Prelim Physics course under the module Electricity and Magnetism and sub-part Electric Circuits.

The following video covers the heating effect of current.
