What are Ecological Niches?
This post will go through ecological niches for Prelim Biology.

Ecological Niches
An ecological niche is a specific position of an organism relative to the entire ecosystem. Generally, if you remove a niche, another species will take its position or fill its position unless it’s a keystone species. This video will go through niches in a little more detail (note that the pronunciation is nleesh in Australia).
Keystone species are essentially really really important ecological niches. These niches are highly specific and specialized and cannot be replaced by any other organism. This video will go through how keystones come about.
This video will go through an example of removing a niche.
