Change of Base

What is the change of base law?

In this post, we consider different number bases and prove and use the change of base law log_a{x} = \frac{log_{b}x}{log_{b}a} , as a part of the Prelim Maths Advanced course under the topic Exponential and Logarithmic Functions and sub-part Logarithmic Laws and Applications.

This video explains what the change of base formula is and how it is used, through clear examples.
